An exhilarating new breath of life is in the air today, and the daisies are cheering! The weather is perfect (so perfect). Nature’s exultation is in sunny skies, puffy clouds and just the gentlest of breezes to waft the smell of victory to all fans. The daisies had been practicing their routine for days, lining up together, bending their stems in unison to precisely the perfect angle, becoming one – all to showcase their dance of joy!
What game was won? What championship? What parade?
Something so much more attainable and precious.
The victory of being alive is what they are cheering, with the home runs that keep us growing, striving and thriving every day. Those processes truly are victories! For a daisy: the gifts of earth, sun and water are winnings to be celebrated. For weed watchers and nature lovers, we too celebrate the richness of the earth and all that comes from it; the sun and its shining light that warms all those we love, and water that feeds us from above, below and within. LIFE!
As the daisies dance, can we also celebrate our victorious state of being alive?
Should we find ourselves at a baseball game on a sunny day such as this, or if we find ourselves at home, resting in the crook of a loved ones arm, or at a gathering with friends rediscovered….Let us celebrate! No matter where we are, we can heed the daisies and let our laughter ring out, and allow our joy to explode out with an exuberant expression of “Cheers for this wonderful life!”.
