Don't Tread on Me

There is a bit of jeep trail heaven in the Sierra National Forest near Shaver Lake, where rugged explorers enjoy bone jarring rides to see stunning scenery far from crowds. Rocks and streams, narrow passes and steep inclines bond machine and driver, while passengers get to look out the window, hold their breath and cling tightly to support straps. Out the window of our trusty jeep I spied a weed. Defying traffic, encroaching on the trail and bouncing back should a tire stray, this weed is full of adventure and courage. I’m waving to you weed!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
