Please keep watering me, sky. I’m still trying to bloom! I wait for my turn with my eyes wide open because if I sleep, I might miss something, and I do NOT want to miss anything. It seems I’ve been here staring into the day for a long long time, facing the future. I stand my ground and use the strength of woven threads of life and a reinforced structure with armaments to hold me up and save my spot so I do not tire. There is flowing movement that change things around me; I feel new greens brush against me and, while moving, whisper exciting news of bursting life. I lay lower to the ground now instead of reaching towards the clouds. But still I face what is to come with a beauty that defies belief. My will allows me to twist and turn, always adjusting so I can see tomorrow from the best vantage point.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
