Visits are wonderful food for the soul and holidays, especially are the perfect time to feel closer to family and loved ones and to nourish your inner child. Grandmas fill that need best of all!
The visit always does come to an end, and the ride home can be part of the journey of being a family. It can be a time for tranquil reflection on the love and laughter, the hugs and connections that make us all come together. This is the view from California’s Grand Highway 5, the Golden State Freeway. As a passenger today I was treated to the iconic California splendor of oaks, rolling hills, and tumbleweeds and grasses growing at the side of the road. The view warmed me as I was able to recount witty quips and touching moments from our visit with family up north. My loved ones stay forever with me and I shall be hugging them in my heart until we are together again.
I hope your travels are safe and filled with views that lift your spirits!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
