Well, I made it through the first work week of the new year, and I am exhausted! My head is aching for the soft downy pillows and quilted earth to wrap myself in. I want rounded waves of sleep and far off fuzzy heavenly visions that I can sink into. As I get ready to float on the surface of the sea of dreams I smile with the anticipation of the stories that will play in my head. What new lands will I discover tonight? Will I climb into a white cave high up in the mountains and stumble over ponds of rainwater that have collected in my path?
It might be that I find myself to be but a tiny insect perched atop a moonflower’s stamen in the creamy center of the blossom. That’s not a bad dream to have, in fact. I think I’ll wish for that. And off to bed I go to float in my sea of dreams and explore my field of weeds!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
