“On a day like today, with our work completed, and time for a rest, we are pleased, so we sing! We weeds have been growing and storing up goodness for a day like today when we can shine and burst forth in a chorus of gladness! My friends and I sing with me of family and laughter, and goodness and light. We sing of love and understanding and peace and true sight. In a group we are gathered to sing ever louder, for our song of happiness should be heard loud and clear. The winds of winter are upon us, but Spring still feels near. When the cold winds blow, do not still your song. Spring is a state of mind, and soon enough will come everywhere, so be ready – it’s where we belong!!!”
Such is the songs of weeds, as overheard by this weed loving gal on a sunny cold winter day. The tiniest of songs became louder and louder the closer I came to this group of dainty weed flowers who were so happy to sing. What a wonderful thing. Thank you dear weeds for celebrating each new beginning.
