Stuck In The Middle
Between

I find myself stuck in the middle, going back and forth from one role to the other, from one place to the next. In one place I support, in the other place I lead. If you were able to capture my image, I would be out of focus, moving from one spot to the next and back, bouncing back and forth according to the needs of others and my callings. This ant is supplying a very nice visual to my state today, as he illustrates quite naturally what strength it takes to balance in between two spots.

How do I transition between the two? I look at both positions as opportunities to have richness in my life and depth to my experience. Being stuck in the middle is not about being stuck at all. It is about having the best of both worlds, about being lucky enough to be multi faceted and having many strengths. It’s about having more than one direction to go in, and the choices and the lovely complications that go along with them.

Funny – you know what song just came on as I am writing this? “Like a Bridge Over Troubled Waters” by Simon and Garfunkel. Bridges are strong – whether the waters they span are calm or troubled.

Blessings all!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
