One teardrop laments someone long long lost. One tear reminds me I am loved. One tear is wistful at the memory of my child small, now grown tall. One tear hungers for the next success. One tear remembers a bittersweet defeat. One tear makes me smile with tenderness at the folly of my youth which is repeated all around me in the youth of today. One tear tastes of life and love and the strength to go on. One teardrop and then another and many more sing to me in joy, when my lover comes to me with warm strong arms outstretched and encompassing.
We have so many paths to follow and many tears to shed along the way. We feel them all so strongly and even the sad, heart wrenching ones, full of wounded feelings, are cherished for the deepness they reveal in us. How magnificent our world is, that the beauty of sights, sounds, smells and touches, can bring our emotions to a brilliance so diamond sharp that they color the very air around us.
I wish for you my weed friends, a day with tears that reflect the brilliance of your most precious moments and ones that contain promises of many more!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
