There is a lurching in my stomach and a heaviness in my legs. I feel tied to this heavy earth with leaden weights. But as the breeze blows the sounds of excited whoops and hollers from others in my field of wildflowers, my feelings change. I feel a rising within me which floods my being with feelings of being truly alive. I savor the tingling of excitement and anticipation as I breathe for a moment before I take off with a leap of faith!
I leap! I laugh! I live!
So here it is…a CHEER to this new day just beginning!
