I lay softly on the curves, and wrap myself around them, the dips and rounds of my earth that grounds me. I am in my rightful place. By simply being, I invite gentle touches and caresses of my curves. I dream that you will notice me.
Although I lay low, see how I sprout and reach for the winter sky? Even though I am subdued and tied to this earth, I can see that I am part of more than what lies at my level. I want to touch the clouds. I want recognition that I am part of this large wide world, even though I stay at its feet. My hope lifts me up and supports my efforts to reach higher every day.
As you busy people travel through your days, and your mind ponders thing large and important, look down. Stretch out your fingers and reach down to pet something new. I am here, and growing, changing, evolving, living. We are part of the same.
Peace to all.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be. Please come back again for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
Even better, look down at the world that teems with life and meaning. It is right at your feet!
