Redstem Stork’s Bill in the Wild

Who knew the dew was there, clinging to every blade?

Who knew the forest hid a beauty, strong and brave?

Who knew a face like yours could hold such hope?

Who saw your strength within your simple gaze?

The jeweled forest of weeds sprang up overnight –

And you in their embrace.

And I, this morning so lucky, discovered you.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be. Please come back again for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like. Even better, look down at the world that teems with life and meaning. It is right at your feet!
