Attraction

Oh, let me gaze upon your fair countenance, my charming bride. I rejoice! For mine eyes are now opened, whereas just yesterday, I had been alone and blinded to the beauty of the world around me. You have enchanted and bewitched me, and I gladly fall under your spell. My soul doth swell with a fullness that threatens to escape the confines of my simple heart. I am freed!  Perchance that I might thank the kind breezes that caressed you and brought you close to me, though rooted we must stay, in this very spot.

Alas, the wind blows ever swiftly, ever changing, and does not tarry to hear my song. Let me then, with all the time that we are granted, sing your praises! My fair delicate flower, my love. You have erased the grayness of my ordinary world, you’ve diminished the troubling worries that filled my days, and have now transplanted me into a world that glows intently with the radiance of newly found true love.

I am but a fool for your love.

Her Reply

Oh noble sir, how strong you stand, how kindly you gaze upon me. Mine ears are not accustomed to such praise, for I am but a simple flower, without finery or trappings of majesty. Yet my breast can barely contain the joy that rises within me. Your passionate words, so honestly spoken, and your claims of devotion penetrate the doubt in my heart and lift me up. I am buoyant on the sea of our love. I am as the metal clasp of a delicate chain, aching to connect with you, the magnet of my desire. I cannot turn away, for I am drawn to you with all of my being. Take me sir, as yours. I shall forever cherish you as mine.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
