I “Get” You

The park rang with the peals of laughter and the exuberant shouts of children playing in the park, skipping and jumping in the spring sunshine. “I’ll be a dragon, and you be a peacock!” one child shouted out to her best mate. “We’ll be best friends in the forest, and together we’ll scare away the evil witch when we find the treasure!” “Yes!”, the other one shouted! Giggling at their cleverness, they ran off towards the trees, looking for suitable hiding places from which to launch the next step of their magical quest.

Weeds are up for anything, and this plan sounded very fun – just right for two who share the same sunny spot, mischievous disposition, and eye for adventure. They even appear suitable for the play at hand, one with a fanned out “tail” and one’s impressive visage perched atop a long and spiked neck.  Dragon and peacock in harmony, best friends, out for fun in the park on a Saturday!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
