The Princess And The Rough Stranger

The Encounter

Once there was a pretty orange princess who liked to look out far into the future and search for her destiny. She liked to dream of exotic places and true love, even though her maids in waiting were always by her side, and they made sure she stayed in her rightful place. The princess was indeed physically contained in the same patch she’d been born in, but no one could make her thoughts stay put.

One day, while she was gazing into the sun and dreaming of adventure, she noticed a rough stranger who’d somehow gotten very close to her without sounding any alarms. This stranger was large and broad with warts and sharp, spiky armor. He was so very different from her, and yet he stood looking into the sun as well, with a dreamy look on his rugged face.

The princess and the rough stranger felt the same warm sun, swayed in the same breeze, and when they nearly touched after bending to and fro, they both felt a connection as heady as night blooming jasmine and as long lasting as evergreen sequoias. At that moment their futures were sealed in each other’s heart and their dreams for the future arrived home.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
