Candy For Dads

Somehow this weed knows that we think Dads can be difficult to buy gifts for, but really it is very simple. Dads like sweet things and from the heart things and if you add stripes, that’s fine. Dads love it when you wash their car, or take out the trash or stand up straight. They love it when you laugh at their jokes, when you tell them you’ve learned something, when you hug them like you won’t let go. The chores we do with Dad cement our relationship with him and make us stronger as we grow. This little weed has benefited from one of the chores Dads have us do – the washing of the car in the driveway.  Having found a home thanks to water that dripped and collected in the cracks after the Chevy got rinsed off, this mini weed is reminding those who are trying to find the right gift, that the path to your father’s heart is marked with love and attention. If you want to throw in some striped candies or a striped tie, go right ahead! Love to the special dads in my life.
