Desert weed, where are you going? Is this some outer space terrain that you think you might explore? Are you here to conquer forces unseen to mine eye? I admire you dear weed and I ask you to rest during the evening so that your journey during the morrow’s sun may be easier on you. You shall not travel to spaces other that this solid ground, but you are free enough to live and love in your own way. I stand back in reverence and respect and allow myself to wonder at your mission, your perseverance, your strength.
I ask myself, “Shall I take the leap tomorrow and follow this weed’s lead? Can I be that brave?” the answer does not come simply, and that is good, for thought should proceed drastic actions. Dear friend, you do inspire me!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.

Hi. I think we could learn a lot from the contentment of weeds. I like the analogy to the terrain of outer space! Jane
Hi. By the way, I have tried polls too and I find voting to be sluggish. I wonder if readers are suspicious of polls??? I think they are fun! Jane
Hi Jane! Thank you for your insight about contentment. We can learn a lot from weeds, and other natural things, if we’d be aware enough to really listen or see them.
Polls…I do find responses to be sluggish, so perhaps people are leery. There’s no collection of personal data going in though, and they are fun. So, come on people, give it a whirl!
