It was a easy living kind of sunny day, one of those days when you feel carefree enough to throw your troubles away for a short time, and the ant family was out for a lazy stroll. They’d decided to take a moment and enjoy each other’s company, and the sights and sounds of the beautiful day. There were so many things to look at on their outing, so many things to command their attention. The birds were singing the praise of flowers blooming while the insects busily hummed and the wind stirred fresh eddies of fragrances from the flowers and growing plants, spreading scents of nature at whim so the adventurers could catch whiffs of it like the intoxicating smell of cotton candy that is always in the air at a carnival.
A pretty flower grabbed for attention from passersby as it waved in the breeze, advertising happiness. The little ant struggled loose from his mama’s grip and ran to the pretty flower. “I wanna see inside, Mama! Lemme see!” Would there be candy? A perfect surprise? The little ant just had to climb up and see, and so his mother let him. He was enchanted as he looked inside at the delicate flower’s secrets, and she was able to revel in his happiness like all mothers do. Such a perfect day for a family stroll, and for a weed.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
