Weeds Want To Be Moving

There are a couple of weeds down a ways that can still feel the travels of others who came before, of those who worked and sweated and lifted and pushed their heavy load along these tracks. Do the weeds know that they have to stay where they are? Are they aware that the tracks here are rusty and no longer in use? Do they feel the vibrations of travels, and are those travels still ongoing in some weed universe, even though in my mind the destinations were reached long ago?

When I stand still I become ever more keenly aware of the movement of our world and the progress around me. Why is it that the world spins faster when I stop?

This weed loving gal got to explore an abandoned industrial railway yard where, in years past busy workers had loaded and unloaded goods from freight cars. And the weeds were witness. They continue to amaze me with their simplistic hopeful acceptance in what is and what will be.

I am dizzy with delight. Let’s keep this train a’rolling because the joy is in the journey!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
