I keep in my sights forevermore the bright spots of hope that lift me up and sparkle possibilities in my path. I hold tight to the light in those diamonds of life, those pearls of wisdom, and I cling onto them and let them wash over every fiber of my being, for without hope I am bedraggled, trampled, and stuck going no where. Without the illuminations reflected in tiny truthful moments I may as well be uprooted like a misunderstood weed and discarded in a heap.
Some say that I am a fool to always look to the light. Do they think I will be blinded to what lies around me if I gaze at the heavens so often? Instead I say, my upward vision sharpens my earthbound gaze so that I am able to see what surrounds me more clearly for what it is in relation to what it might become. I see joy!
May your sight be blessed whether you see with your eyes or with your heart.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
