The Light Is Coming

When you find yourself dragged down by a day with deep pockets of dark shadows, look up! The sun is there, making it all happen. The sun is brightening a patch of bright blue and it beckons to us from on high in the sky. Our future is visible but not yet at hand. But because we can see it, there is hope. We know it is there and we can lay down the heavy burden of our anxiety about its arrival. Our future will come when it comes.

Though it may be dark now, we will find our way through the shadows. We can use touch and memory and instinct to move towards the light. If we keep moving forward, we will make our way and thus find our destination, our future. Set your sights high on your bright future, but don’t forget to look around to spot the beauty in the shadows all around you. There are jewels in the dark as well as the light. We just have to look harder for them.
