The quiet voice of the Weed speaks. “Today I was blindsided. I experienced a shock to the system that stopped me cold and knocked me senseless.”
I closed my eyes, and my heart. Then later, much later, I peeked.
“And then I saw that I am still standing, rooted deeply in Mother Earth. It turns out I was prepared, even though the jolt was unexpected.”
Earlier, all I could think was “BLEAK”. But now I can BREATHE.
I am finding that breathing is healing. Maybe, just maybe there could be a rainbow in all of this. I’ll hang out just to find out. Have you had days like this? I’m betting the answer is yes, because all growing things experience pain.
May your day be better and your vision be clearer than the one attributed to this weed.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
