Holding The Promise

Full

Full

My form and my yellow color, so full and sunny from the start, has predisposed me to a certain temperament, and I am a lucky flower to have that fate. I hold tight onto the anticipated arrival of love, of better days, of joy, of feeling full and warmed by the sun, of the richness of life and all that comes from the sky.  There is the scent of goodness swirled in the air, and, no matter if it is a hint or a saturation, I latch onto that honeyed smell as if it will keep me alive. It is enough to keep me yearning and striving through all trials to reach the sweetness of the day. If I catch a whiff of that promise, it is enough to push my petals into bloom.

May you search for the promise in your life. May that promise keep you ready to bloom, and give you the energy to push forward towards the brightness in the sky. May the weeds in your life inspire you and show you a new way to thrive.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
