WeedImageoftheDay

Tippy Tippy

Whoa!

Whoa!

Yippee! I’m hanging on tight, enjoying this wild ride on a weed, high above all others! The view and the adrenaline keep me here, and when the tossing by the wind pushes me to my limit, I spread my wings and off I go! Simple as that. Today I am high. Tomorrow I might be low.

I am a dual personality type of guy, somedays extreme, and somedays ordinary. If you look closely, and step carefully you can often find me plodding along on the ground, methodically examining everything in my path. I never know what treasures I’ll find among the straw, dead leaves and grasses, rabbit poop and other terrain altering material. I really love the search. I feel secure on the ground making slow and steady progress, and if the sun gets too hot, I can always burrow down a bit and find a cooler spot in the shade of a fallen leaf or twig. It doesn’t take much to keep me happy.

But on the days when I feel like going for a rock and roll roller coaster trip, when I want to be extreme, I’ll make a long and arduous climb to the top of a tall weed and hang on to enjoy the ride. The thrill of it keeps me coming back for more!

I’m hanging on tight, that’s what I do. I know to balance the thrill of being tossed in the wind with the secure feeling gained when hugging the ground.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
