Ah, the delicious descending and sinking into an abundance of green, fresh healthy green. It is a craving some days, to have my fill of greens. And here, growing and thriving before me is this prime specimen of verdant green vitality. Overlooked, neglected and unheralded by most, it flourishes at the side of the road, an unnamed soldier of green in a dried up field. All green. Full of proud green power.
What care it took to nurture this bud and to bring forth fruit with no adornment or frills of color or fragrance. How brave it is to stand stalwartly viridis.
Just who is this weed trying to seduce? Perhaps it grows so richly out of the joy of growing, proud and promising needing not a blush of color. That is simply a very good green thing!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.

Thank you, dear Aina!
Hi. ‘Green power’ ! Great concept. The whorls in the seed arrangement are lovely too! Jane
Thank you Jane! I just thought this specimen was so deeply deliciously green! I love the seeds as well.
