I held a wish in my heart. It was warm and sweet and I knew that I wanted to give it to you. So I closed my eyes and saw your face and I smiled. My wish held a sentiment so strong and pure, and my connection with you was unbroken so I thought the wish would fly right away straight to you. I blew out a strong whoosh of air and sent it your way with good intentions. I thought the wish was gone, perhaps yours already, but when I opened my eyes, there it was, back, right by my side.
So just to be certain, I checked with you, and yes, indeed, you had received my wish. So I was not mistaken. You got my wish and then it came right back and stayed with me. We are sharing a wish, you and I. And perhaps we can share a giggle about this wish that wants to be with us both.
I see my wish for you is still with me, like a pal that just wants to hang out. And every time I look at it, I think of you and smile. I gave my wish away and it came right back to me to stay. Somehow that seems a bit like a wish come true!
I guess some good thoughts and wishes are so good they stick with you even though you thought you’d passed them on to someone new. Maybe there’s enough goodness around to be in two places at the same time. These weed flower friends with their wish tufts sure look pleased!
I wish for you today, hearty helpings of good wishes and sweet dreams for all! May the goodness bounce back and forth with childlike wonderment and a great sense of fun!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

I am inspired by things that grow in the ground and blow in the wind. I like to play in the dirt, especially when planting something, and can talk to trees. I like to look closely at things that at first seem small, insignificant, dried out, or contrary. Weeds may not welcome me with swollen blossoms, but the visual treasure they offer up, are well worth a look. Do you agree? I hope that these images of the oft-overlooked pest of our gardens and yards may give to you some delight, hope, or a new thought to make your daily journey just a little bit more inspired.
