WeedImageoftheDay

At Last

Oh Open

Oh, I Open

Yes, finally, the anticipation built until I could barely stand it. Finally, the time came. I opened my face to receive the sunlight in all its warmth. I am at your mercy, dear daylight. I am open and trusting with arms and limbs and petals outstretched. I shall hold out my petals for as long as it takes.  I am a servant to the sun. I live for the light.

Brilliant in its truth, the light warms me and fills me up and makes things fall into their right and perfect place. Here I stay content to be open to all the gifts. My joy is to receive them and as a gift, to present my open acceptance of them to the giver. What a wonderful thing it is, to be in a connection that is completed. We are electric, synergistic, symbiotic, cohesive, and greater together than we can be apart.

We blossom and shine our yellow faces upon each other, dear sunshine sky and I, a simple weed flower. Together we paint the world yellow and hopeful and full of love.

Now the universe is aligned. Time to grow!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
