I am present today, and in the moment. My past, the past I share with all of humanity, and my inner personal past is behind me, supporting me. I can not escape my past because it shaped me and continues to do so with every thought and memory, and instinct I have.
My past guides me with lessons learned and shelters me with memories of loves who have long moved on. It takes a second look at where I am today and it analyses my choices. Do my choices live up to my potential? Are they in keeping with my inner light? Am I still on the right path? I am aware, with my eyes wide open, keeping a lookout for the answers to the questions that puzzle me?
If I stay true to my past, and our past, I just may learn something today. So, for a moment today, on September 11, 2013, please honor your past, and all those who helped create this beautiful universe of you. We truly are so much more that who we are right now.
We are the fruits of the labor of generations who have come before. We journey today because one hundred, one thousand, and ten thousand years before, others traveled. We are inspired because those who came before us fought to seek out and defend their truths. Whether their previous battles were fought in art or literature, the battlefield or courtroom, we owe our thanks to those who’ve come before us and are now gone. We dream because those who came before us, dreamed.
Blessings to all you weed lovers. May your day be richer and sweeter because of our brilliant and blessed past.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
