Life is full and so I overflow. I have a strong desire to contain life, to hold it and hug it tightly in my arms, to make it stay young or little or fresh and new. But life is too powerful to stay in just one position. It grows and ebbs and flows. Life is designed to surprise and challenge and teach and reveal. Life surprises us and dulls us sometimes too, until we wake up.
Life can be overwhelming, so on those days, just hang on. A new day will come and your way will be washed fresh by the winter’s rain.
Life does not want to be remembered as something that was sweeter long ago. Life is not to be replayed by hitting a rewind button over and over. Life is to be lived: in the rain and in the wind, when we are unkept and when we are pretty. Life is full bodied, deep and richer for our failures. Life is airy, promising and uplifting. Life is sweeter for our successes.
Life is grand and when I can, I shall cherish the bits of it I am able to hold in my hand, or capture with my lens. But most of all I shall live and breathe life. I shall listen to its music and follow its dance moves and I shall stride forward. I shall seek out what gifts come with the next cloudburst.
I wish for you my friends, a weederful day.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.

My very best wishes for a perfect year 2014.
surprisingly, I’ve been experiencing several “weederful” days of late.
hope you have had some weederful days, too.
I was missing you, and was happy to see you today. 🙂
NTexas99, I am happy to be back, and I’m happy that you had some weederful days! Sometimes life gets going so very fast, like weeds sprouting in springtime, that it is hard to keep up.
Hi. Lovely image. It captures a moment in time, just before the droplet moves on. ‘Weederful’ !!!!!!!!!! jane
Hello Jane! Thank you for your kind words. Don’t you just love that moment, when you feel you’ve got to hold your breath, lest you alter fate?
I have nominated you for The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award as I love everything about your blog. The nominations will come out later this evening Oz time.
OOOOH, RandomRose, how exciting! Thank you so very very much!
You so deserve it. I think of you often when I see weeds. Because of the connotations of the name I am trying to call them something else when I say hello to them and tell them about you…:)
Rose, that is a great idea. I wonder what new name we can come up with?!?
