Today I am surrounded by a feeling, and that feeling is soft. I gently cradle the feeling and the state of softness.

I am yielding, forgiving, loving, pleasing, easygoing, willing.

I like to be humble, gentle, nice,  polite, courteous.

I defer. I offer. I placate. I apologize. I praise. I support. I sympathize.

I am easy. I am smooth. I am subtle. I am quiet. I am kind. I

I am velvety, I am downy, I am cushy. I am friendly.

I am soft.

You can lean into me, lean on me, and lean towards me without rebuff. Please do, and become soft!

I am inspired by things that grow in the ground and blow in the wind. I like to play in the dirt, especially when planting something, and can talk to trees. I like to look closely at things that at first seem small, insignificant, dried out, or contrary. Weeds may not welcome me with swollen blossoms, but the visual treasure they offer up, are well worth a look. Do you agree? I hope that these images of the oft-overlooked pest of our gardens and yards may give to you some delight, hope, or a new thought to make your daily journey just a little bit more inspired. We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
