A Morning Chat
A Morning Chat

Let’s bring our hot cups of coffee outside, and meet in the middle between your house and mine. No make up, no hair styled, just natural – even bathrobes and slippers are okay. I won’t judge and neither will you. It is too early for that, and we are so lucky to be neighbors with time on our hands and the opportunity to share stories during this treasured part of our morning routine. Husbands have left, kissed and secure, children are off, loved and fed and now it our time. We allow ourselves fifteen minutes for comfortable company before we rush on to tackle the rest of our day.

My friend you understand me and love me nonetheless.  I see myself reflected in your life; tending to others, loving the whirlwind and challenges of raising a family and being a mom. Our shared moments give me such joy and renewed strength and faith in our mutual duties. Our connection grounds me and allows me to stretch further than I could without you.

Chit chat, so golden in the morning, it is so treasured. I could talk over the fence with you all day, but duty calls to both you and I. Thank you my dear friend,

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be. Please come back again for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

Even better, look down at the world that teems with life and meaning. It is right at your feet!
