Okay. I admit. This looks bad.
I know I have been away. Projects, projects, projects and MORE projects have tugged at my attention – and won. I know I have neglected my garden this year. Something had to give. Here is the ironic result of too many pursuits: a tumbleweed thriving where I’d obviously planted watermelon this past Spring. Really?
Who’d a thunk that a tumbleweed would sprout in this exact spot – as if to taunt me, the way only gardeners can be taunted. I can see no evidence of any round juicy fruit, except for the manufactured sign, but I can see a very healthy tumbleweed that is getting regular water and plenty of sunshine! Watermelon may not be my forte, but I sure can grow my own Tumbleweed!
A joke is a joke, but now that I’ve been brought to my senses, the weeding in my garden will resume. I’ll do it tomorrow.

I grow weeds regularly and sometimes I just let them be. Tell me you won’t pull this lovely weed!
