No one thought I was pretty, until you came along. Thank you for the kind eye you sent my way. I wanted to go to beauty school, but the other girls just teased me. When I cried they cheered, so I learned to turn aside and hide my face. In my solitude I studied hard and now I know how to create a pleasant palette with vibrant colors that make me look striking. My jeweled accents draw the eye away from obvious flaws and my curves and angular points suggest fluid movement, with the possibility of grace.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
