Did you ever notice how a cheerful nod, a half smile, a look of acceptance from a stranger in recognition of your kinship is all that is needed to lift your spirits? When others around you see in you something akin to themselves they acknowledge the connection between us all. We are all part of a fabric woven by common threads and so we can never be truly alone. This humble Sahara Mustard caught the sunset’s glow and my eye as if to say, “You’re all right. I see in you a bit of me. We are kin.”
To all the passersby I saw today, “I am with you in this world.”
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
