We wait. We bide our time. We learn and grow. We watch others try and we watch the outcome. We keep our hearts open. We listen. We dream. We plan, and adjust our plan according to what we’ve learned, and who we have become. We keep one eye on the future and one eye on our inner strengths, cloud hopping. And when the time is right, we stretch up to the sky to meet the clouds halfway as the floodgates open and the rain pours down.
Waiting is not an easy thing to do, but it steels us for action and strengthens our resolve if we keep our eye on the prize. Because there will come a day when it does rain down, and you’d best be prepared lest you miss what you’ve been waiting for. This weed was growing quietly in the shadows, always looking up, but always keeping quiet. Today was its day, and as it stretched up, the skies did open and rain came down!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
