Beating the Heat

Tropical Weed Umbrellas

The heatwave had blistered the city for six solid days and good moods were starting to melt. People from every walk of life were looking for relief and they recognized in each others’ faces their common misery. One lucky group of three friends were adventurous in their efforts to cool off. First they brushed out their hair, freshened up their makeup and de-wrinkled their skimpiest sundresses. Then the three confident friends snuck into the exclusive air conditioned country club bar to revel in the chilly stares of the club wives and the heated glances of the country club husbands. They charged the air with the promise of youth and vitality and in return, they were treated to three rounds of ice blended frothy refreshing tropical drinks topped by perky parasols.  “Aaahh, the refreshing ability of an attractive woman to make the heat much more bearable.” And the parasols – why they the spirit of youth just as these weed parasols do. May your day be silly, sweet and vital!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
