Out for an evening stroll, my camera and I, when a group of promising weeds we did spy. Quick to adopt my familiar pose of knees in the dirt and macro controls, I maneuvered close, with weeds to flirt. My attraction was returned with a clinging surprise of horehound attaching to camera’s strap and becoming by nature firmly bound. Not to be outdone by the fresh green shoots and blossoms, this strand of dried horehound proves itself worthy of a self portrait. The result: my Nikon CoolPix P7100 with horehound taken by my iPhone which also wanted some screen time! (You can see it in the view finder screen of my Nikon.)
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
