Excited
Excited

The sprouts were part of the crowd gathered alongside the rail line to watch the circus train pull into town. Moss and gravel and iron were there, and stick had cut into line. As usual he acted rudely, thinking he was better, as he said, “being made out of wood and all.” But nothing would spoil the moment for the moss sprouts, who were not often invited to events like this, they were usually overlooked due to their size and fragility.

The crowd buzzed, gnats circled above and the breeze nudged the stick out of the way. The circus train was coming round the bend! The crowd of miniature stature let out an excited shout uniting them all in the enjoyment of the moment. And just as dramatically, with a burst of steam and screeching brakes, the circus train came to a stop! The ring leader leapt out of the train with a flourish, the dancing girls pranced out, and the clowns began to work the crowd.

The show was about to go on, and the wait was worth it. All who were there shivered with excitement. Can you feel it?

Give in to the excitement of anticipation today, and imagine a wondrous show that is about to begin. You have a ticket – go right in!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
