“Well,” said the little bug, “here I go again. Upside down. Wouldn’t you just know it!” The little bug was trying to make his way across the pathway that’d made a gap in the plants. He’d chosen a direct straight line across the trail by hopping onto the outstretched arm of a weed that was eagerly extended to its limit. But the moment the little bug climbed aboard, the breeze picked up, and he had to hold on tight lest he lose his spot and forego all progress thus far. The weed whipped wildly to and fro, as if it were trying vigorously to shake him lose. The little bug had no recourse but to hang on valiantly. If that meant he went upside down in order to keep his grip, then upside down he went.
Somedays you just gotta focus on any little progress you can make, even if things around you are shaking up a storm and you’re almost dizzy from trying too hard. On those days, hang on, and if you go upside down, enjoy the crazy view that you hardly ever get to see!
Even little bugs know, you do what you’ve got to do. Soon enough the rough patch of air will settle, and he’ll be back on top again.
You’ll make it little bug. We always do. Have a weederful day, y’all!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
