The Weeds Swirl

Caught in the Undertow

Fighting the Undertow

Why did today bring constant changes, being sucked down, fighting to go up for a gasp of air, twirling and swirling and changing direction without warning, without rhyme or reason? We’ve all had those days. We ask the questions but we know the answers don’t come easily, or perhaps at all. So we hold on and endure because really, we have no other choice. And we know that just on the other side of the embroiled mess, is a bit of calm.

So envision that calm bit of sparkling sea, the water glimmering in the brilliant sunlight, bringing dazzling jewels to one’s day. We will reach that sweet spot because one way or another we will hold on tight until we can rise above all the turmoil and confusing currents. This mass of weeds and grasses have met their limit at the seaside rock that put a stop to the madness of the daily waves that never became still. They paused against the sandstone and listened to the summer ocean wind bring them songs and stories of good vibrations.

Let’s look for the peace in this summer day and ignore for now all the twists and turns! Let calm be the mood of the day.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
