We hang out together, easy and comfortable. We are united by so many bonds over the years that a common stem runs through us and it tugs at us with the sweet safe feelings of connection and belonging. We each dangle in our own space, and twist the way we prefer to in the breezes that we catch, but we are always aware of each other and happy that our movements can create ripples of movement and vibrations in the others.
Our views belong only to us but the vista upon which we gaze belongs to all of us. Our common experiences and values have taught us well. They have formed us and molded us into beings with similar purposes and have imbued us with the understanding of those aims and goals in one another. Because we hang from a common stem, yet take mastery of our own space we also understand without the need for words or explanations, the differences we all possess.
This is a great thing, to hang out for a conversation and share our own view of the world with others that see the same things in ways that compliment our own. Here’s to friends! Here’s to hanging out! Here’s to communing!
Here’s to Ric and Michelle and Juliet and Jack! Here’s to best friends that I am honored to share my corner of the world with. Here’s to love and laughter!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
