Rambling Rose

Roses

Mi Familia

I have not seen the path that I shall travel and I know not where it will lead me, but I know that it shall be a rambling one. Today, here in the sun, I listen to the wind and the clouds, the songbirds and humming insects and I hear the call to explore. I know that I will not be able to resist. I will make room for the bumps and the twists in the road. I will make time to visit with fellow travelers, I will stop to smell the sweet wet grasses and I’ll always be ready for a new view.

So I’m not gonna be fancy about it. I’m going to get my blooming done, I’ll grow into a tumbleweed and then I’ll set about to ramble. First, for a moment though, I shall soak up the sun with my sisters and my brothers. They travel with me and reflect back the best things we’ve been through, always together.

I so love this journey and all the stops along the way! Every open face, every smile, every simple gesture tells the story of a life rich with moments worth celebrating.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
