Mustard and Spring Trees
Mustard Hills and Spring Trees

There are some things that are so pure, so pristine, so powerful, that it is a privilege to witness them.

Nature is a powerful force that gives us many gifts, from the lowly wild mustard which paints the hills yellow, to the line of well tended trees erupting with spring blossoms. The band of hardworking farmers knew that spring would come and so they did not give up or lose sight of the eventual good from all their toils. They continued to sweat and bleed and press muscles against tools, and tools against earth.

There is such beauty brought about by hard work that the wild things look on in awe.

I stand and I am grateful that this is what I can witness. Blessed be you all, dear weed lovers!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
