Notice Me!

Skin Art

Quietly I reach out. You might think it so, but I am not really asking to be noticed. I am rooted in shyness and so I don’t want to perform or put on a show. But I have ideas, hopes and dreams and things to say.  My voice speaks with strong lines and colored shapes that reveal my secrets and expose my creative side. I will keep my thorns at the ready, just in case.

There are words and pictures swirling and trapped in a rainbow whirlpool inside my mind. The creative forces within me flow, circling in on themselves, merging and melting and blending. They are bottled up until they find an escape through my skin.

I do not expect you to understand, although that would be nice. I ask that you simply let me be.

Let me be who I am inside and out. My art is part of me. It is not something I put on. It is something I release.

Here’s to a wildly colorful and well lived day!

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I have many acquaintances who have tattoos, and this weed has just helped me understand their decoration just a little bit more.
