“Now that I feel safe,” Ladybird thinks, “I must continue. I must not be so flighty and distracted.” Putting her anti-gravity skills to work, Ladybird descends the weed stalk, newly confident in her abilities. It does not matter that Ladybird is going down the very same weed she just came up. “Climbing up and down weeds with plenty of happy munch-munch-munching along the way will make me happy!” These are the actions that define her and that will make a difference. Although only newly hatched, Ladybird somehow knows how to complete her journey of eating aphids and protecting plants so they may prosper.
“Hmm, perhaps I could use a mate,” Ladybird thinks.”A pretty gal always likes to have a good chap around.” A flash of red catches her eye.

“He shall do nicely,” Ladybird thinks.
The rest of Ladybird’s Journey is private, so our visit with her has concluded. You might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her outside, if you look closely enough!
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
