Master of Destiny

I Tower

I Tower

Proud and strong, I am the master of my own destiny and I tower over the tumbleweeds, dried foxtails, fiddlenecks and horehound.

Did someone say hound? I am a hound! What’s that smell? It sure smells good.

Did I hear something? I think –

I gotta go look at that thing that just blew by over there.Should I chase that? Yes, I think I will! Here I go! Wow, this is fun! I’m chasing!

But wait, what did I just pass? Maybe that is better than the thing I was chasing. I don’t even remember what that was. What was I chasing? Oh, it doesn’t matter.

Here is something better. It is something I can chew on. Yum, that tastes good, and feels good too.

Here comes my person. Rub my tummy? Sure! I’ll roll over.

Like I said, whatever destiny decides shall be my master and I can tumble like the best tumbleweed ever. I’ll go anyplace that calls to me, and I’ll be happy to let my attention drift as the wind sees fit.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
