Groupies of Sunsets
Groupies of Sunsets

We stood in a crowd and were touched by the clouds. Painted pink by the fading light, we were united. Our solidarity is what makes us true and strong and able to fight the good fights of peace and equality and compassion.

Tonight I was a tumbleweed fan in the audience of a truly amazing band, Gogol Bordello. They could not see me, but their words and music pierced my heart, inflamed my fever for life powered my spirit so it did not matter that I was in the shadows.

My lucky chance to go see them play in a small venue is the reason this weed image is late tonight. I shall revisit this page in the morning, and I hope my hearing will be back by then!

I am a fan! If you get a chance, please check them out. They will inspire and energize you.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
