Like a toddler fixated on pink cotton candy or sparkling sugary pops, my mind is glazed over because of the desire for these tasty honeyed treats! Pretty please with sugar on top, don’t try to stop me, for I cannot. Devouring them all is my only goal. Can you relate?”
How wondrous it would be if we could have moments of such single-mindedness as the larva of a ladybird beetle. How satisfying to rack up achievement points in great numbers, to excel at the things we are suited for, to lose our self-consciousness in work. Those are the treats of a GREAT day. There is sweetness and grace in natural talent put to good use.
