Reflect and Refract

There is something special about today. The sunlight is carrying forth gifts of shining possibilities and promises of lighter times. This mustard grass flower, although supported by the slimmest of stalks, is perpetually waving optimistically at opportunity and is a sunny beacon much stronger than it looks. A beneficiary of the sun, it has the power to reflect the shining light, and to refract it so that it spreads in a new direction. Perhaps a ray is headed your way.

Gasp! I just saw the glimmer reflected in my honey’s eyes. I think a ray caught him!

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
