Ladybird continues her climb up the obstacle course, and with great relief, she reaches the top! “Oh, oh, oh…. precarious! Tippy! Windy! The breeze stills. Birds chirp. Insects hum. “Calm down”, Ladybird tells herself. “I come from a long line of doers. Ladybirds who CAN DO! If I paid attention to my every thought, I’d really be a ninny.”
A memory comes to her, a picture in her mind. Is it…her mother? “No”, Ladybird thinks, “I don’t know my mother. I hatched.” The picture in Ladybird’s mind reminds her that she is hungry.

Ladybird gives her body a little shake to wake up a bit. It’s best to pay attention to the journey. She pauses and takes a look around. “Oh, there’s something yummy over here.” Mmm, mmm. Munch munch. “Lovely aphid! Happiness!”
Ladybird Journey continues tomorrow with Part 3.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
