Let Me Wave!

The paparazzi! The bright bursts of lightbulbs flashing! The luminous, dazzling “out of this world” smile, and diamonds, and glitz! I could burst with excitement! I am willing myself to burst! If I squeeze my eyes nearly closed, everything is more sparkly! Let me exclaim and let me wave! I am an ordinary fan possessing no celebrity myself, yet the nearness of fame is intoxicating, and I spin in a special orbit when my favorites are near. ‘Tis better to let the waves of fame wash over me, just as the wind makes me wave in chorus with other ordinary weeds in my company. When I am caught in the spell of a celebratory weed wave, I am lifted up to symphonic planes. Celestial music to mine eyes.
